Lysine (L – lysine) hydrochloride – is an essential amino acid contained in proteins; it is a zymophore and plays a key role in the formation of bones and cartilage. Crystalline powder from white to slightly brown colour, highly soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and not soluble in ether.
