Lysine-sulphate – a nutritional supplement for enriching and balancing rations for livestock, poultry and fish with lysine.
Active substance content of L – lysine-sulphate is at least 70%, L - lysine content in the product is at least 55% accordingly.
The product is obtained by microbiological synthesis; it is 100% bioavailable.
In addition to L - lysine the preparation contains other substances enhancing its nutritional value: carbohydrates (sucrose, fructose, dextrose, etc.), mineral salts (ammonium, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium), organic acids (acetic, succinic) and more than 10% of other amino acids (threonine, serine, glycine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, alanine, cysteine, methionine, arginine, valine, glutamic acid, isoleucine, leucine, histidine). When comparing the metabolic energy it can be noted that it is higher in sulphate than in hydrochloride form. For example, for poultry ME of lysine-sulphate - 4060 kcal/kg, ME of lysine-hydrochloride - 3990 kcal/kg. The content of crude protein in lysine-sulphate is 75%, in hydrochloride – 94%. A significant advantage of the preparation is the lack of chlorine (chlorine content in lysine-hydrochloride is 19.4%). The problem of excess chloride ions is commonly found in feeds containing bran particles (laying hens, pigs). Chlorine excess in rations reduces the concentration of bicarbonate anions and increases the acidity.
