Bioavailability, active agent: L – Thryptophan feed additive contains the active agent – L – Thryptophan (at least 98 %) obtained by microbiological synthesis, and water (up to 2 %).
L – Thryptophan is contained in many proteins involved in calcium metabolism and facilitates the growth of bones and the development of the skeletal system; it initiates cell fission and the synthesis of nucleotides, proteins, hormones and antibodies, and also fortifies the immune system.

Produced in the form of microgranular powder of pale yellow colour, partly water soluble.

L – Thryptophan is used to supplement premixes and balance rations for pigs and poultry.
L – Thryptophan is compatible with all ingredients of feed, medicines and other feed supplements.
Feed preparation:
L – Thryptophan is added to premixes and feeds at premix/combined feed factories or at feed preparation shops and on the farm using appropriate mixing technology. The quantity of introduced amino acid is determined by the level of protein in the combined feed and amino acid content of components.
